About Event

Madde - 1 material workshop focused on acrylic.

Led by Mehmet Erkök, the workshop consisted of two sessions. The first session took place at İskele on Saturday, 19 February, at 14.00. Through Mehmet Erkök’s presentation, participants explored the structure, properties, dimensions, processing and shaping of acrylic, as well as methods for surface treatment, bonding and combining it with different materials.

The second session was held on Saturday, 26 February, during a visit to Mehmet Erkök’s studio. Participants examined designs in which acrylic was used both independently and in combination with other materials and had the opportunity to experiment with a range of materials.

The sessions were held with a limited number of participants, with HES code checks and face masks required.
