The İskele Design Acceleration Project is a programme that aims to support the professional development of design students and young designers through events, training sessions and workshops for their project ideas, while encouraging the emergence of new ideas through interdisciplinary interaction.
İskele Design Acceleration Project | Design Marathon • The İskele Design Acceleration Project began with the Design Marathon, which was organised to develop a logo and slogan reflecting the programme’s objectives. Moderated by Barış Yücebilgen, Informal Project, Kibele Yarman, Mustafa Ömerli and Mehmet Akif Sarı, the event brought together 16 selected participants, including design students, young professionals and makers interested in design. During the one-day programme, the participants worked on developing the project’s logo and slogan. The Design Marathon took place at İskele on Saturday, 12 March 2022, at 09.00.
Applications were submitted by sending a portfolio and a letter of intent of no more than 250 words to [etkinlik@turkiyetasarimvakfi.org](mailto:etkinlik@turkiyetasarimvakfi.org). Participation was limited to 16 people, and the application deadline was Monday, 7 March, at 17.00.
The event was held with HES code checks and face masks required.
