Madde - 1: Metal | This edition of the Madde - 1 material workshop focused on metal. Led by Osman Dede, the workshop consisted of two sessions. The first session took place at İskele on Saturday, 16 April, at 14.00. Through Osman Dede’s presentation, participants explored different types of metal and their properties, as well as their production, diversification, classification and areas of application.
The second session took place on Saturday, 30 April, during a visit to Osman Dede’s studio. Participants examined various metalworking practices and examples of metal being used in combination with other materials.
