About Event

18.45 Talks | Wayward Architecture • Büşra Tunç discussed different ways of practising architecture through what she describes as wayward architecture: a mode of production operating within a network of relationships in which boundaries disappear. The talk took place at İskele on Thursday, 16 June, at 18.45.

Büşra Tunç is an architect and artist who produces perception- and experience-oriented works across architecture, art and design. Trained in architecture, cinema and sound, Tunç places the concept of atmosphere at the centre of her practice. Her atmospheres frame the viewer’s relationship with space as an integral element of the work and prioritise experience. Approaching space and time as an integrated whole, she brings together light, sound and material through configurations that transform, carry memory and engage the body.
