Madde - 1: Natural Stone | This edition of the Madde - 1 material workshop focused on natural stone.
The first session of the two-part workshop took place at Alimoğlu Marble Workshop on Saturday, 25 June, at 12.00, under the guidance of architect Mehmet Beşkardeşler. Through Beşkardeşler’s presentation, participants explored the properties of natural stone, its applications in buildings and its relationship with other materials through traditional and contemporary examples.
The second session, designed to offer participants hands-on experience with the material, began at 14.00 following the presentation. Different cutting methods for natural stone, construction details and examples of its use with other materials were examined in the marble workshop.
The application deadline was Wednesday, 22 June, at 17.00.
